I have a jenome sewing machine and there is a problem in the bobing case. There is a plastic accessorie (think it's FIBRE) and i'm unable to give you the model of the machine right now. firstly check that the needle is in the right way, flat shank to the back. This is easy to get wrong and will prevent the rotary hook from catching the upper thread when the needle is at the lowest point in the stitch sequence.
Also check threading up of the top thread, particularly that the thread is through the take up lever.
However, if you are certain threading up is correct, and needle is correct then the timing between needle and rotary hook may be out. There is diagrams at this website too for this problem http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Repair/Sewing%20Machine%20Hook%20Timing.htm however, I've always left timing repair to my sewing machine technician to deal with.
I got my Jenome MC10001 5 years ago. It was the top of the line combo. Within 5 years Jenome retired it, I also found that the manufacturer was not keeping the connections to the PC current. As well the machine drivers will only connect to a 32 bit PC. Bottom line. Sewing machine manufacturers want to produce computerized machine$ but are not interested in designing their machines to accomodate future technology through firmware upgrades or replacable connection ports. Your machine will likely be obsolete not because of dealer support but because of changing external technology. Also support is not as good as from computer software companies. If you get a embrodery machine, you need software and expensive threads.
There are hidden plastic snaps inside the seams of the front and back shells of this model. You will think you are breaking it if you try to pry them apart and you may. Wish there was a better way.
Was it tired? The bobbin case is locked in place, because of tread or lint.
The "hook" will not move. Take the bobbin unit apart and clean and oil the hook (yes, oil, just a Q-tip amount).
Janome dealers will be able to make up a set of feet etc to suit if you only need a few it would be a cost effective option.
Somewhere like ebay may have accessories, but more likely sold with a machine to keep intact.
Janome has a print publication of accessories that your local dealer ought to have access to, so speak to them about your needs, as finding a set here will probably prove difficult.
