Trying to play a cd on the TEAC GF-680 . Blinking message

  • You may have some dust blocking an optical sensor that detects the door being closed. Try to blow into the door area with the tray open, either with your breath or with compressed air.
  • You can also try unplugging the player for 1 minute and plugging it back in to see if that fixes it.
  • Try a different CD. The DVD player may not like the CD you are trying to play or the CD might be dirty.
  • The DVD player might just be broken.

I got the unit(gf-350)home from the store and set it up.at first it worked okay..but only for about two hours.i noticed that the cd's were getting unusually warm after being recorded on.after about two...

It sounds to me you have manufacture defect, you said it worked fine for two hours and then you ran into problems, if there were issues with the cd's they would not have played. I would do yourself a favor and return it for exchange or for a different unit.

Teac lp- u200 cd player doesn't work

Sicne this is a new system, don't waste time on it. Return it for an exchange. The CD portion is not working. The reading message indicates that the unit detects a disc, but can not read it. This is usually a problem with the optical assembly or the processing board. Neither should be a problem at this time. Replace it under warranty.

Did you buy these DVD's out of the country? Are they burned? did you pick English and the United States of America when you set up the dvd player? Try unplugging the player for an hour, plugging in and resetting everything up
