Re: TV CUTTING OFF
Check this, for how long the TV is on? 30 min., 45min, 1 hour? because maybe you have accidentally programmed the SLEEP control. If so, go to the set up options or menu with the remote control and check the status of the sleep power off time. Or maybe the TV has the otion to power off automaticly set the same way that is the alarm turn on.

Its not the power pack. The problem is with the dvd player which is also where the cable inputs converts through to the tv. if you are lucky enough to find a new internal dvd unit then you are in luck but I have'nt been able to. Your problem is an old isuues at least 2 years old...Sorry no Mintek tech support available.
Definitively you broke the connector. Look in the internet the web site of Mintek. But since for a technician is not a big deal to fix, you can take that TV to ANY repair service, because is very easy to do it. I strongly recommend that.
Be advised that Mintek Digital Inc., the company that has sold portable DVD players, DVD Flat Screen TVs has filed bankruptcy in Federal Court. What this means to consumers is that your product(s) warranties that are within your purchase date are no longer valid. Anyone purchasing any Mintek products with claims of warranties are being mislead. For further information, contact the California Attorney General's Office, the Better Business Bureau or telephone 301-986-666 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org to seek compensation. Remember, if you buy any Mintek product, you are buying a product that cannot be supported or warranted. You are on your own since September 9, 2007.
I am having a problem with my DTV-373 also. I called QVC customer service and they gave me a number to call for service. My unit is under warranty also. When you call this number one of the promts is "Press 1 if you bought your product from QVC". The person will take your name and address. They will send a repair kit to your house. When you receive the kit you call the number back and they will send a service person to your house to fix it. Mintek has gone bankrupt but this service was hired to fix problems and cover warranty. QVC has done a great job with this. I am sorry I do not have the number in front of me at the moment.
