I want to clean the projector sitting in the back as I see that there is some dust on it. I dont know if that is a good idea or not or if it will even make a difference with the image on the screen. I want to take a pc of cotton and windex to it while I am waiting for my thermal fuse. Anyone with advice?

VERY Easy to change!!! We took the back off and on the right side by the fan is where it connects, just like KimSm said.. My husband called the shop and they wanted to charge 100 to come and look at it, 100 to take it with him if needed, 50 a night storage fee, 600-700 to fix it... He went as far to tell my husband there was no way we could fix it ourselves, there was soldering involved, circuit boards involved.. All lies!!! I just happened to stumble across this website and I am glad I did.. Saved a bunch of money. Thanks Everyone!!! Harley_Diva

Hello JT,
Thanks for the request. I cannot post manufacture software on a public forum like this. Please visit http://www.interactiverepair.com and select service---> request tech support and a tech specialist will upload the software to you with full instruction.

I have never seen the thermal fuse replacement not fix this problem. What is the part number that you put in the set? Do you know how to use a meter? After you replaced the thermal sensor did the set try to come on at all? or was it the same exact problem as before?
Let me know
