Jennair 8855 F9 error

The F9 error code for this model number Jenn-air range indicates a door lock issue. The control sees it as locked, unlocked, or both at the same time.

The technical manual instructs us to check the wiring to and from the door lock mechanism and if no issues are found replace the motorized door lock.

The latch has most likely become dislocated from its mounting points and will need to be secured back in place correctly.. Check the mounting screws to see if they are loose. Then move the latch back into position and tighten them securely. If not then the error will just come back. What a scam by service personnel.
-Simply press "Stop/Clear", then gently push the door handle until "Lock" appears on the screen. Press "Stop/Clear" again and the door unlocks itself!
