Question about Gateway 4026GZ Notebook
4 or 5 months ago, I tried to do a windows update. It froze up the computer. I was able to get the computer working again however now the wireless connection won't work. A friend has brought his computer over and can get wireless so I know it is not my router or cable.
I've tried to download the suggested driver from the Gateway website but it won't load up. It gives an error.
Can anyone help?
How do i turn the wireless on and where the switch

Make sure your wireless card is on (use Fn + F2 to toggle on and off).
Also make sure it is enabled by going to control panel -> network connections and right clicking on your wireless network device and going down to enabled.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
