Hi.
If you know the cause of the problem, you already solved half of it.
Make sure you got the right Drivers, there are many Geforce models like ( Geforce 4 series, Geforce 6 series etc).
First find out the model you have, then visit Nvidea website and find the newest version of the right driver and download it, it is for free and you don't have to register or anything like that, they have everything you need, except if your Graphics Adapter is to all, you can get tech support etc.

Hope this help.
Good luck.

    Sorry for the error.

I meant( Graphics adapter is too old.)

    I forgot:

you can do a system Restore to the date just before you installed the drivers, by going to - START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - SYSTEM TOOLS - click on SYSTEM RESTORE, follow instructions.

    Thanks

How do you get Windows 10 free update from Windows 8 to operate the screen saver?

How to customize Screensaver in Windows 10
RECOMMENDED: Click here to fix Windows errors and optimize system performance
There were times when computer monitors used to suffer from image burn-in issues caused by showing the same image for a long period of time and people used to install a screen saver to avoid the issue. The computer screens today no longer face the burn-in issues, but people still use the screen saver on their computer systems for fun's sake. Windows 10 comes with a six built-in screensavers. Let us see how you can customize screensavers in Windows 10.
Read: Are Screensavers necessary and still needed.
Screensaver Settings in Windows 10 You can get to your screen saver settings directly by typing 'Screen Saver' in the taskbar search box in the lower left corner of your system. Click on 'Change Screen Saver' and it will take you the Screen Saver settings right away where you can adjust the settings according to your own preferences.
Alternatively, right-click on your Windows 10 desktop, and select Personalize to open Personalization settings. Next click on Lock screen in the left pane.

Scroll down the Lock Screen settings and click on Screen Saver Settings. The following window will open. Here you can adjust the settings according to your preferences.

By default, Windows 10 offers the following six screensavers - 3D Text, Blank, Bubbles, Mystify, Photos and Ribbons - nothing new here. Select the screensaver from the drop-down menu and change its defaults Settings, if any are available.
For instance, the 3D Text screensaver lets you customize the text as well as a few other options.

The Photos screensaver lets you display your favorite photos as a screen saver.

Once you are done, click on save and exit.

Create Screen Saver Settings Shortcut

If you access the screensaver settings frequently, you can create its desktop shortcut as follows: However, it is easy to change the settings but if you change your screen saver often, it would be better to create a Screen Saver Settings shortcut on your desktop.
To create the shortcut, you have to right-click on your desktop and click on New > Shortcut.
Type control desk.cpl,,@screensaver in the location space in the wizard.
Click Next and give a name to your shortcut. Click Next and you are done. Give it a suitable icon of your choice.
Use this shortcut to change or adjust your screen saver settings whenever you want, quickly.
You can also create a shortcut to launch or change Screensaver state for a specific screensaver.

Monitor goes black after 1 round of screensavers

Windows version ? It probably matters. You might have an odd conflict between you computer and the power saving features of the monitor.

There are about three different things that can control power saving. There are settings in the BIOS of some computers that can control part of this behavior. Windows also has power saving features and the monitor may also have its own settings. Some graphics cards also have settings for this. So I think that's four, isn't it?

Biggles! The rack! our three chief aims, fear, surprise and an almost fanatical devotion to John Cleese! and the comfy chair! Four, Our four aims ...

Make sure that you have the latest version of drivers for your graphics card and the video display (and BIOS firmware, if you are a hardy soul)

You want to poke around and find out whether two of these are interacting. The first screensaver starts using one inactivity timer. The second phase or standby mode kicks on a slightly longer timer.

Dell 4700 sleep on bootup

ok here's what i can suggest. Two things.
1. Check your power settings by going to the Control Panel and then going to Power Options. Take a look at the power schemes..specifically the option where it says turn of monitor...you can select the "Always On" power scheme....if this doesn't do it...
2. Right click on your desktop and click on Properties. Go to the Screen Savers and verify that the time before the screensaver comes on is not something ridiculous like 1 minute. You can just disable the screensaver if you'd like by selecting "none"..

I'm pretty sure you're dealing with one of those two problems.

Aspire, desktop: Screen will randomly go blank, if I turn off monitor and turn back on it says no signal, keys are locked up as well. If there is audio when it does this the audio will start skipping...

have you checked your gforce for power failure? check your powersource for the type. if it is not over 500 Watt.... That is a big problem with system function. If you are using a newer Updated machine, you should always keep up to electrical fashion or your machine will most definitely do "Funky Stuff" quote.
This is also interfering with your soundcard on your motherboard, and if this continues without being checked, your motherboard may blow.

I don't see how this can be a problem with your monitor. Your monitor is simply showing what is happening with your computer. I think the nvidea driver is probably at fault. Pls update with the latest version for your operating system.

Screensaver problem

Umm... Screensaver issues can be related to many things. If you want to investigate this further, right click on the desktop and choose "Properties" from the menu that appears. Go to the Screensaver tab and check your settings. Aslo, make sure you have updated antivirus software and perform a complete system scan. This is a good start.
