Need to reset my Office jet 6100 to factory setting. I tried holding to go button it did not work also tried to unplugging from back and plug, waiting 60 sec. Also did not work

This is the only Reset procedure. It is a just a printer, not a computer or a phone ;>)

Please see below for resetting the printer:
  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.

Hp lase jet M1005 mfp printer power on for a second after that it power off

Check if the power cord is not bent, loose, and should be plugged properly on the wall socket and the other end on the power cord port of the printer. If you have a spare or old power cord, try testing that as well.
If all else fails, and your printer is still under warranty, get HP support to check it out for you for any faulty wiring or software issues.

I own officejet 4215v it is stuck in the fax mode and I can't get it to go to print.

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!
Sir this problem is due when by chance the Fax Mode is selected as default. To get to the print mode you need to change the mode to print. Try the following:
Click Start >> Print and Faxes (if you are using Win Xp) or Devices and Printers (if you are using Win 7) >> There will be the list of HP Office jet 4215 Fax and HP Office jet 4215 Printer. >> Right click on HP Office jet 4215 Printer ans Select as "Set as Default"
Now try to print again. If printer is still struck on the Fax Mode then possibility is that your printer is locked, In this case you need to Reset the printer: Follow the given steps to do this:-
  • Unplug the power supply from the rear of the product.
  • Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet, power strip, or surge protector.
  • If the product uses a power module with a detachable power cord, disconnect the cord from the power module.
  • Wait 15 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the power module.
  • Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet. Do not use a power strip or surge protector.
Now turn the printer On and now try to print again. I hope if first solution do not work then this will solve the problem. But if still it struck to Fax Mode then its may be a technical or hardware issue, You need to contact HP Support Center to solve your problem.
I hope this solution helps you and you have clear picture in your mind
Let me know if you have any confusion in your mind.

Sir, Your Rating as Five Stars for this solution and Words of appreciation as Feedback for me will be really esteemed
Thank You for taking my service

HP 2600n Lost Power Cord

It is a standard printer/pc cord. Kinda looks like a D shape with the 3 terminals in it. Trust me here if you have one of these cords and it fits into the HP's power port then it is fine.

I lost one of the cables and the Cd-Rom that came with my HP PSC 2210 All-In-One Printer, Where can i buy replacements?

What cable do you not have? Tha power cord or the USB cable? A USB cable can be purchased at any office supply store...Staples, Office Max, etc. If it is the power cord you need you amy have to do a search on Google to find the correct one. One such site is PSC Power Cords

The software can be obtained at HP support. Here is a link:

PSC 2210 Support

Select Software & Driver Downloads. Then select your operating system. A list of available software will appear. Many will have a link to order a CD if you desire one, but you can download the software for free.

Thanks for using Fixya.
