Discoverable mode for plantronics

The headset must be put into pairing mode. Once you make your Blackberry phone discoverable, then put the Plantronics 232 headset into pairing mode by pressing the call control button until it flashes red and blue. If it's not flashing red and blue, then it is not in pairing mode. Here is a link for the pairing instructions for the 230 headset (which is the same for the 232):

With the headphones powered off, press and hold the Power / Pairing button until the LED Indicator flashes blue and red. Hold down the call button on the headset and wait for it to flash slowly blue. Make sure your phone is in "discoverable" mode. You should see your phone asking to connect to the plantronics headset. When it asks for a code, enter 0000.
