Question about Acer Computers & Internet
Have a problem with my laptop, Its a Acer Aspire 5670, It wont power up, New battery installed , power harness to the motherboard replaced.
Checked Power Adapter with multimeter , output is 19.55 , Any idea? Suggestions?
Sounds like the next logical culprit to check would be the surface mount DC jack on the MoBo edge. They are a common fault on laptops/notebooks. You are working in the right direction in my opinion, so cracking open the Puter is next. If you have excellent soldering skills you could flow solder to correct any possible cold/bad solder points and/or use a multimeter to Ohm out points.
