You can take it apart and let it dry for up to 48 hours and sometimes it will comeback. if not you can take a qtip and dip it in bleach then go over the sticker under the battery on the phone its self (the red sticker) and call and exchange it for warranty lol!! i hope this helps i have been through the same my self and i know that phone is not cheap. i just wanted to give ya options that could work.

The A button on the curve 8520 keypad has stopped working it was constantly pressing its self but now its stopped working altogether so i cant lock the keypad or anything.

Fortunately your phones is not in locked state, if your phone in lock state you must unlock blackberry curve 8520 by typing any password 10 times, it will erase all your data and after your blackberry unlocked you.can setup new password again. But if your A button still didn't work, it seems you have hardware problem and you must bring that blackberry phone to your nearest local phone repair shop.

My camera on my Blackberry 8520 is not working. It keeps coming up with blue and black circles on the screen. pleeeease help...

Not too sure unless I saw it but sounds like it might be a software issue.
You can try to do a Security Wipe of your handheld and see if that cures it.
Keep in mind you need to back everything up before you do that since everything (email, contacts, calendar, pictures) gets cleared and restored to factory settings.
Backup with Blackberry Desktop Manager:
  1. Open the Blackberry Desktop manager
  2. Plug in the USB cable to your phone and computer
  3. Click Back up now

Wipe the Blackberry:
  • 1. Go to Options
  • 2. Security Options
  • 3. General Settings
  • 4. Click Menu button
  • 5. select Wipe Handheld
  • 6. type in blackberry to proceed

Try the camera now. If the camera is still not working then it might be faulty hardware and should be covered under warranty (assuming you did not damage the phone in any way)
Hope this helps.

Blackberry curve 8520 buttons dont work. im scared to put my bb in the oven wont it blow up? buttons havent worked in days but screens come on will it not melt?

dont put it in oven!
sounds like water damage,
remove battery & place it screen down under a lamp.

the heat will evaporate the moisture in phone.
heat on battery is a good way to half life then.

I want to copy my contacts from my blackberry 8520 to my sim card

Unfortunately you can only copy them one-by-one...go to your address book, select the contact you want to copy, click the menu button and select "view"...then press the menu button again and select "Copy to SIM Phone book", this option is the very first one up.
