First, don't put any clothes and try to spin it, if doesn't make any noise, that means when you put heavy clothes towels or small rug in the wash maching, it was not balance, when you heard the noise, you have to move the heavy thing to another side, if you hear the noise again, you have to do it again until it is balance.

Maybe this can help you

I hope you can save some money and solve this problem.

Hi, Sorry but this sounds very much like the drums bearings have failed. It's quite a big job and unless the machine is still under warranty maybe uneconomical to repair.

How old is it and which country are you in?

If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills.
If they do not, please hold off on the rating and add a comment with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D

Hi, You jumped the gun a bit there with your rating, but never mind. You didn't say which country you were in. In the EU there is an EU Directive which requires all consumer goods to have a 2 year warranty, and in the UK the Sale of Goods Act requires items like washing machines to be "durable". Durable is more than 2 years. I'd suggest getting in touch with your local consumer rights organisations for advice before spending any money.

    Hope this helps, D.

My Kenmore stackable washer makes very load noises in the rinse and spin cycle but still works. Anyone have idea why it's making so much noise

Try spinning the drum by hand when empty, the faster the better. Does it sound noisy or is there a grinding sound? It should sound silent or whir as everything turns. If noisy then it may well be the drum bearings. If it clunks then it may be one of the arms that holds the drum in place has broken.

Spin - loud noise - switched off - drum wont turn

I'm just hazarding a guess here, but it sounds like the bearings have gone (if you try to turn the drum by hand and it sounds noisy and grinding/crunchy then I think it would be the bearings). I'm certainly no expert though.

My machine has been making a noise while spinning and now seems the dum wont go ound?

Sounds like the main drum bearings have siezed up.
If it was noisy before stopping and the noise has been getting worse, then It wikk be the main bearings.
This is a major repair to undertake, and if the washer is more than 5 years old, I would seriously consider replacing it.

Noisy drum, grinding sounds when the drum is spinning

Hi
The grinding sound is because of damaged or broken bearings.
You will have to see if the motor rotor bearing is damaged or the drum bearing before you change anything.

Zanussi ZJD1219 Washer/Dryer - noisy spin and dirty spots

Sounds like the main drum bearings have failed, and the marks on clothes are probably grease spots from the main bearings.
It is quite an involved repair, and not one that I would recommend you tackle yourself unless you are competent to do so,as it really is involved.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

When my zanussi aquacycle 1200xc is on the fast spin cycle the spinning drum seems to be getting noisier of late.

Probably the main bearings are going, spin the drum by hand, there should be little or no noise at all, if it feels rough, or noisy, then bearings are failing.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.
