TV is standard, large screen (>40 inches) Sony model. It's NOT a PROJECTION Type.

If it was working before on the same system, then try reprogramming remote for your system, using codes provided in user manual.
Before reprogramming you may need to remove remote batteries to reset it.

As you look at the tv from the front, you have the tv function keys on the lower right hand side, press the key described as source once at a time till you get to the input you are using for the dvd player, ex: if dvd is connected to input 2, press the source key repeatedly untill you get to input2, this should give you control over the external inputs you are trying to use. As for the remote control, there should be a universal remote control you can program to use with your soyo tv.

TV Guide program does not activate or work. How

This sounds like you have a Samsung DLP TV with the built in TV guide system. Unfortunately what you are doing is the ONLY fix for it as there is no way in the system to deactivate the guide. The only work around is by using a cable or satellite box connected to composite or component inputs. This bypasses the internal tuning system therefore eliminating the internal TV guide system. Please take a few moments to rate my answer, Thank you..

Is there a phone number for Ponasanic Television. There doesn't seem to be a Model:PT-50LCX7K, I need to find a Remote control that will work for it. Please help me!

The website MRREMOTECONTROLS.COM is currently, selling a remote control for your TV, for $27.95 plus $7.95 (S&H). They can be reached at 1-800-221-1471. The website lists your TV as Model PT50LCX7 which uses remote contol N2QAYB000103.

Another option is to buy a less expensive universal remote. I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220), which works with Panasonic TVs. I bought it at Walmart, for less than 10 dollars.

Hope these suggestions work for you. Please take a moment to rate this info, by using the rating system below. Thanks.

I found a haier tv. problem is no remote. if i bought a universal remote wat r the codes to program the universal remote to the tv or is there a way to select video 1 or video 2 with out it?

I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220) which works with Haier TVs. The remote comes with a booklet with a list of setup codes.
In order to determine if you can change things manually, you would need to push any buttons on the TV, and see if VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 appears on the screen. If nothing like this happens, then you need to buy a universal remote.
I purchased my remote at Walmart, for less than 10 dollars.
