It's easier to use a tablet. Think of it like this:
The tablet is used like a pencil. You have precision.
The mouse is used like your index finger, with not so much precision.
It's almost like comparing finger painting with brush strokes.
The real question is, what's the easiest FOR YOU? (:

You need to set the sensitivity down lower, you do this in mouse properties in control panel, or if the tablet has a facility use that.

How do you capture signature

To capture signatures you must have a graphic tablet that has a pen mouse with it. Procure and install the tablet and then use the pen mouse to capture your signatures. It is an electronic slate that is attached to the USB port and use to trace drawings, maps and such non linear graphics. Basically for outlines.

Pen and mouse have constant constant cursor jitter Intuos 3 mac

I had a similar problem on my laptop

I plugged the tablet directly into the laptop rather than the USB hub I'd been using until then, The issue disappeared.

Possibly it's a power issue, and going direct cured it?

The mouse on my Wacom Intuos tablet is not working.

I know this question was asked a long time ago, but I just had this similar problem and found a solution to it.

1. Install the latest Wacom drivers for your device
2. Open the Wacom Tablet Properties from the Start menu.
3. Click on the Mouse tool
4. Click on the Mapping tab halfway down the screen
5. Change the mode from Mouse to Pen

Windows Vista Issues

Omg... I just found out how to get around this problem, so see if it works for you. I found that I could download a special driver that would cause the 12000u aiptek tablet to work. Here's what it is called:

hp12000u_vista_driver_beta

Download the driver, restart your computer, and there ya go! Saved me from having to spend even more money on a new pen tablet.

I found it simply by searching for "aiptek 12000u vista downloads" or whatever. Hope this helps!
