Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player

Black Screeen Ive had my ZenV 8Gb since December 2007 and just recently when I turn it on the screen stays black. Ive tried restarting it and shutting it off, but the screen remains black. Its hard for me to find my playlists and Music because i cannot see what i am doing. It still plays music, perfectly fine, but the screen stays black

My mp3 wont charge the screen when its connected to the computer shows the light bolt for a couple of seconds and then the batery just turns red again ive tried everything


You can try and fix it yourself first. Go to the SanDisk support site and look for the "Updater program" run the update on your player before contacting support for a repair.

Screen went black while watching movie but light is still on


press the centre button + menu button  /or/   centre button + play button, during 10 seconds, it will restart and luckily it will work ok.
If that doesn't work, connect it to the computer, open iTunes, and  the menu where the ipod is shown click "restore", this will whipe out your ipods memory. If even this doesn't work... take it to an Apple store.

Sansa View doesn't start up

Sansa View shuts off without warning


I am sorry to hear that..it sounds like your battery is defective..Unfortunately the only way you can get the problem fix is to contact sandisk so they can replace the battery for you...There isnt any shop out there that will be able to replace the battery for you..I hope that helps.

Try holding down the on/off button for 30 seconds. It should reboot. Next go to the Archos site and download the newest firmware and follow the instructions.

Sansa View has a "ink blot" graphic and a white background when I turn it on.


if its an inkblot you broke your screen..... the same thing happened to mine and i'm still trying to find a place to repair the screen.... if i find anything i'll tell you
