I have an Autopage remote starter XT-12 that came on my used car I have the fob but don't know how to use it. Is there somewhere to get operating instructions?

This works for alarm only. If you have remote start as well, you will need to press the valet button 3 times. The valet button is a small red button that was probably placed somewhere along your lower dashboard under your steering column. It is to put the alarm into "valet" mode when you use it, which is basically to temporarily override the unit. The valet button is used as part of the programing process in addition to being how the valet feature is turned on and off. How to program AutoPage XT remote

How to program longer crank time?

you will have to go into the last programming table located in the installation manual. If you need a copy of it click here:

Wired unit asper instructions. try to program unit, starting with transmitter. cycled key as says ,then with in 15 seconds bushed progrm button twice holding in on 2nd time, parklights flash and led...

you need to push it 3 times and then hold, to program the unit for tach, voltage or timer. It will not work until you actually program the unit on HOW YOU WANT IT TO START.

I need the manual to tell me how to activate Autopage XT-42 LCD remote starter

The Autopage XT-42LCD is used to operate two systems, the RF-420LCD and RS-622. Since you state that you need to activate a remote start that narrows it down to the RS-622. You can download the manual for this unit at the following link:

After install every thing but the starter itself won't start no matter what i do. can anyone help me ? or if you know how to reprogram the remote please show me...

did you follow the procedure for programming the remote starter portion of the unit yet?? We get 20-30 calls a day because people do NOT program the starter to start a certain way. It is specified in the INSTALLATION manual that the unit needs to be programmed before using the remote starter.

Why does the alarm in my car go off when I try to start it with the remote car starter?

If this is the vehicle's factory alarm that is being triggered then your factory alarm must be disarmed prior to the remote starter sequence. The Autopage unit has a factory disarm wire available for this purpose. When the alarm triggers again try turning the key in the driver's door to see if there is a factory disarm wire available in the vehicle or if the factory alarm is RF disarm only. If it is the after market alarm that is being triggered then you made need to decrease the sensitivity.

Car will not start using the key fob all fuses are good, lock/unlock buttons work. i have had this remote starter in this car for nearly 3years

In some cases, if you hold down a button too long on the remote fob, the starter module goes into a setup "menu", which is possible. You didn't change the fob batteries lately, did you? It sounds like you will have to 'retrain' the fob with the starter unit so that it re-learns what to do when you push the start button. With the "Ultra" brand, you use the button on the windshield antenna to retrain your unit. I'm not sure about the Autopage brand. An installer should be able to reprogram it for you for $10, and that would be the easiest if you can't find the data by doing a Google search.
