Check it again if 98.4MB is the only memory remaining or 980.4MB.

I cant seem to access MY SD Memory Card from my New Camera through the SD Card slot on the Front panel of My Aspire M1201 - The Green LED is on but no pop up and i cant find the correct the section to...

Newer cameras may have SDHC cards - these have a high capacity. Older computers can't read the newer SDHC cards - they can only read the old SD Cards. The SD card and SDHC cards look exactly the same. The SDHC card will probably say "SDHC" on it somewhere. Fortunately you can buy a USB SDHC card reader for a computer for around £2 on amazon. I would buy one of those. You could search the internet for "usb sdhc card reader".

Computer not reading memory card :(

I will assume you have rebooted and that the reader is enabled. Do you have any mapped drives? If so try to remap so you have Drive F & G available.

What memory cards are compatible

Probably most of the small memory cards(sd, mini sd, micro sd-some may need an adaptor, sometimes included with your purchase)
Maybe, CF memory card, but most manufacturers tend not to include this format. Most definitely, you must have usb memory slot.

I have a 4gb sandisk micro sdhc with adapter and the computer freezes when i have it in the sd drive.I have a hp pavilion a1 a1203w. Is there anything i can do?? Please Help

I had a similar problem not long ago. The SD and SDHC standards are different. SD only goes up to 2GB, and SDHC (high capacity) goes higher than 2GB. THe problem is that SD card readers aren't capable of reading SDHC cards, even though the card will physically fit into the card reader slot. When you insert an SDHC card into an SD card reader, the reader attempts to read the format, and locks up the OS while trying. You'll need to get an SDHC card reader and use it separately like through a USB port or something.

Acer 5920 does not work with sandisc 1gb memory card

Your Minolta camera uses file format, which is not recognized by PC and vice verse. When you insert, PC can't read it, and asks to format. But when it is formatted for PC, your camera can't read it. Try to format it in camera, if it's not possible, then get a new memory card and use USB cable to copy images.

Every time i install my sandisk 4.0 gb sd hc into my computer it keeps telling me to install the card.

Check the specs on your computers card reader... Is it compatible with High Capacity SD cards? Anything over 2 gig is considered High Capacity. I'm quite sure you will find this to be your problem. Insert a 1 gig SD card and I'm sure it will read it fine.

Just got an ACER Aspire AS5720Z notebook. It has a 5-in-1 card reader. I have a memory Stick Pro Duo card that is extremely small. The manual says the card reader will read it. There is NO eject button...

Hi, the memory Stick Pro Duo card is (micro), half size as you have noticed you need to buy an SD adapter card. You put your Pro Duo card into the SD card & than put it into your card reader.
Once you see the SD adapter card on the web site you'll understand. You can buy this at a local BestBuy. Most web sites sell the adapter as a combo, you'll get a micro card & adapter.
Click the link below.
http://www.google.com/products?hl=en&q=Stick+Pro+Duo+adapter+only&um=1&ie=UTF-8
Look at SanDisk 2GB Ultra II Memory Stick PRO Duo w/Adapter
& you will understand.

Good Luck & Have a Great Day!
