Question about DVD & Blu-Ray Players

1 Answer

DVD PLAYER Thanks. I don't think that this is the problem. The DVD which plays will play with either setting on the DVD player - PAL is set as default. I have tried going back to factory default settings and that did not work either.

I bought pioneer muti system dvd

Check your DVD player's color system, most multi system dvd player has to be set(PAL or NTSC) manually, NTSC for American standard. Look for this button could be a mechanical switch at the back or at the menu. Some machine need to reboot after setting. Hope this helps

It sounds to me as if you are not using the correct video standard, IE: There are two or more principle "Standards" PAL, NTSC, & SECAM... now if the the input you provide is say, PAL and your player etc is set to say NTSC, the pic will play but ya won't have sound and the pic will have no colour.. ie: look sorta B/W. so try your "Settings" and make sure it is correct.
