My Sansa e260 mostly just lights the blue ring or turns it off after 15 sec of power button. There is another mode where the ring lights up while the power button is pressed then goes off as soon as it's released. Another mode where nothing is on. In all these, there is neither light from the screen nor sound.

It worked for several weeks; I think it died after disconnecting from the PC.

Unplug the sansa and turn it off. Then plug it back into your computer. If it still doesn't recognize it, unplug it and change the usb setting, make sure you highlight it and then press the inner circle or it might change back into the other setting. This worked for me.

Can you please help me, don't know what to do =(

Yes! That is, if you are certain that the device has no malware or virus on it! Shut the computer down completely (power off). Then connect your device and reboot the computer. It should then recognize your device.

My media player won't detect my mini sd card, but my mp3 will

Sometimes it appears that it does not detect it, but goo to your bottom left corner of your computer screen, click on the start, and then go to "computer" and click on it, now look under "storage devices" it should appear there. look for the device that wasn't there before, sometimes the name changes.

Sansa mp3 player could not detect micro sd add on card

I believe you can fix it by going on the player, then to settings, then to USB mode, and switching it from MTP to MSC. If you're in MSC already and it fails to recognize, then I don't know. :(

Computer won't read mp3 player

First, reset.
If that fails, then try to download the Sansa Connect Recovery Tool from:
If that still fails, upgrade the firmware from the Sansa website
If that fails, uninstall the software from the installation CD and reinstall it from the Sansa website.

My rca th1101 mp3 player does not detect my sandisk

Make sure the SD card does not have a storage capacity greater than the internal memory of the Mp3 player, or the Mp3 player will not reocgnize it in many cases.
