Question about Computers & Internet
are you familiar with the hard / cd rom drive dip switch jumpers? sometimes you have to change those around a few times for windows to submit, theyre the tiny black little pieces of plastic things next to the ribbon cable or power cables on the back of the drives, they pull straight out with needle nose or tweezers. if you look on the drives you will see a diagram for them, the hard drive usually is master , cd drives slaves, and cable select mode I think that setting means that you can then change the drive config via bios, but not 100% sure. Maybe try plugging two hard drives in and one master one slave, like that to unravel your problem. also Im hearing in order to go back to xp you have to do it microsofts way exactly via internet or something.
