Internal mic not working and inverted internal cam

I would first try updating the drivers for the camera, it should show up as an installed device in your device manager.
If you head out to the ASUS site you should be able to find a driver for this particular camera and download and install it.

My ASUS K501J shuts down after 5 minutes. I was advised to get a new hard drive. I installed a Hitachi (Hitachi Travelstar 7K500) and and I'm getting the same problems. Any ideas? I'm running Windows...

Try cleaning the dirt out of the fan and heat sink assembly, and make sure the fan is running. Your computer may be shutting down to protect itself from overheating.

You usually have to press the "Fn" and the "F#" keys together for it to work. On my laptop, it also takes a few tries to work...
