Can't get photos from the Temporary file to the main computer files

When I returned from a holiday with some great photos, I checked to see if there were any new updates on the Samsung PC3 Studio.  There was.  I downloaded the update, but from that point any time I attempt to download photos, a window comes up saying that Multimedia Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close down.  If I attempt to download the update program again, a window says that Multimedia Manager exe. file is missing or  open.  I'm SO stuck!!  What do I do?

Of the 2 solutions offered, the 1st suggested consulting the FAQ section in my User Guide (manual).  There isn't one. I'm in Australia- don't know if mine is different from yours.  The 2nd said something about SD cards and memory cards and adaptors-I'm not a bit geeky and don't understand about this stuff.  What I do know is--it used to work and now it doesn't!!  How do I go about fixing it --in very easy language--while preserving all my current photos and videos that are stashed in it?  Cheers Glenice

Well, if you can. Get a SD card adaptor or whatever mem card you use. Then get a Card reader. This is the only way i use. Perfect everytime. The adaptor is about £7 and the card reader is in most supermarkets for about £10

Can get my games to work

you might not have enough computer ram if the games are using lots of graphics (animation)

Laptops are a great way to play games without being tied down to sitting in one place the entire time. However, depending on what is already on the computer and how much room and power a game requires, a laptop can be sluggish and not operate at its full capacity. Several easy and inexpensive options can be used to improve how a computer functions, helping games to run better at the same time.

Place the laptop on a flat, hard surface such as a table. Laptops generate heat, and that heat can affect how fast a game operates. Set a magazine or book underneath the laptop if using it on your lap. Close programs that are not being used before starting a game. This includes other games or spreadsheets, which use a lot of power. The more programs running, the slower the computer will operate. Push "Control+Alt+Delete" to close programs manually. Defragment the hard drive once a month to improve the computer's speed and operations. Select the "Start" button from the bottom left of the computer screen. Select "Computer" from the list of options. Right-click using the mouse on the hard drive icon and select "Properties" at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Select "Tools" from the top of the box, and select "Defragment Now." Depending on how long it has been since the last time the computer was defragmented, this could take some time. Remove unused programs and files from the computer's hard drive. Large files such as photos and videos take up a lot of space. Move this to a back-up hard drive or copy photos to a compact disc. That way, this files will not be lost, just moved from the main hard drive. Scan the computer for viruses daily. Viruses can not only damage a computer, but also slow it down. Install an anti-virus software program that will regularly check for threats. These programs can also use computer resources, so close the program before running a game. Dust off the laptop every few weeks. Dust and air particles can clog vents on the laptop, restricting circulation. This can cause the equipment to run slower than it should. Press windows button and in the search type msconfig go to startup tab and uncheck those you dont want to start. scroll to the bottom toolbar bottom of screen right click you can select task manager applications also processes you will see whats running on your computer and ticking over you might have a virus microsoft security essentials your operating system must be registered Win7/Vista/XP 64 bit anti malware free edition Win XP/2003/Vista/Windows7 if you see something running that you does not need to be running select end now then you might you might uninstall that particular program and some unnecessary programs you should also check leads from motherboard to hard drive for secure dust free connections click start control panel administrative tools computer management disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start tick in both boxes this will schedule to on restart do not have any input while chkdsk utility is in progress any might damage your computer also you might download and use this registry cleaner it is totally free to use then defragment your hard drive adding more ram is the best way of speeding up a computer If youre not sure if a module is right for your system use the Crucial Memory Advisor tool for a list of guaranteed compatible modules
you should always ask for a guarantee on compatibility before purchasing any ram and buy working pairs if possible you might have to many programs running at the same time putting to much strain on the CPU central processing unit

I would like to update my computer but it wont let me. it says there isnt enough storage space. i have no idea how to erase it all. please help

Well to clear out space you should uninstall programs you don't use by going to Start, select Control Panel, select Add/Remove programs (or Programs and Features) and click on programs you don't use and select Remove or Uninstall. Also you might have a great deal of temporary files taking up room. Go to Start > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup. It will scan your drive to decide what all it can do, then it will bring up a list of check boxes. Make sure Temporary Internet FIles, Temporary Files, and Recycle Bin are selected at the least (NEVER EVER HAVE THE COMPUTER COMPRESS FILES AND FOLDERS! it will come back to haunt you later on). After that, you may want to consider putting any pictures, movies, or songs onto CDs, DVDs, or Flash Drives and just deleting them off of your computer.

Do you use your phone to browse the internet? if so, go to internet explorer -> options -> memory. and let it delete all temporary internet files. That should free a lot of internal storage. Turning your phone off and on again can also help to delete temporary files to make room in your storage memory.

Can't even get it downloaded!

You should delete temporary files or delete files that aren't important to free enough disk space. It is basing on your Harddisk storage capacity. If there's no enough space on your harddrive, eventually some programs cannot be opened and needs to be closed. To do this, go to control panel, Add or Remove Programs. Reboot your computer after uninstallation.

Computer "hangs up" when displaying the Polaroid Album in PhotoMAX

This error or system hang-up is usually caused by: 1. the camera driver software attempting to read a corrupted photo; or 2. there are too many photo thumbnails stored in the PhotoMAX temporary storage area. In either case, the problem can be corrected by manually deleting the Fun! Digital 320 camera thumbnails from the Polaroid Album (using the Windows Explorer or My Computer icons). Follow these steps to delete the Fun! Digital 320 temporary files: Step 1 -- Locate the temporary photo files If you are familiar with Windows Explorer, simply browse directly to: C:\Program Files\Polaroid\PhotoMAX SE\Digital 320 If you are new to browsing the file system, follow these steps: 1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on the desktop. 2. Double-click on the C: drive. 3. Double-click on the Program Files folder. 4. Double-click on the Polaroid folder. 5. Double-click on the PhotoMAX SE folder. 6. Double-click on the Digital 320 folder. Step 2 -- Delete the temporary photo files Inside the Digital 320 folder, you will see many files, most of which will be bitmap image files. All of the bitmap files that start with dsc_ (example: dsc_005.bmp) must be deleted. To delete the files, you can either drag them into the Recycle Bin, or highlight each file by single-clicking on it and pressing the Delete key on the keyboard. To select multiple files at once, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard as you click on them, then press Delete. IMPORTANT: Do not delete the following files from the Digital 320 folder: * 320popup.rtf * DscDrv_Polaroid.dll * Polaroid Album.exe
