Can't get photos from the Temporary file to the main computer files

When I returned from a holiday with some great photos, I checked to see if there were any new updates on the Samsung PC3 Studio.  There was.  I downloaded the update, but from that point any time I attempt to download photos, a window comes up saying that Multimedia Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close down.  If I attempt to download the update program again, a window says that Multimedia Manager exe. file is missing or  open.  I'm SO stuck!!  What do I do?

Of the 2 solutions offered, the 1st suggested consulting the FAQ section in my User Guide (manual).  There isn't one. I'm in Australia- don't know if mine is different from yours.  The 2nd said something about SD cards and memory cards and adaptors-I'm not a bit geeky and don't understand about this stuff.  What I do know is--it used to work and now it doesn't!!  How do I go about fixing it --in very easy language--while preserving all my current photos and videos that are stashed in it?  Cheers Glenice

Well, if you can. Get a SD card adaptor or whatever mem card you use. Then get a Card reader. This is the only way i use. Perfect everytime. The adaptor is about £7 and the card reader is in most supermarkets for about £10

How do I get my pics from my I Phone 4 to my Droid

To transfer photos from an iPhone to a different type of phone (not another iPhone) you must first transfer all the pictures from the iPhone to a computer.

Your computer might need to have iTunes installed on it.

1. First you need make a new Temporary Folder on the computer, you can name it "iPhone Pics" or whatever name you want to name it.

2. Connect the iPhone (in the "ON" position) with a USB cord to the computer.

3. Once the computer notices the iPhone a small window will open asking you what you want to do.

4. You can click on either OPEN DEVICE to VIEW FILES or on OPEN PICTURES and VIDEOS.

5. From either one you would then locate the pictures that you want, COPY them and PASTE them one at a time or all of them together to the temporary file folder that you created.

6. Once you copied and pasted all the pictures that you want to the file folder you could leave the iPhone plugged in or you could disconnect it.

7. Now you need to plug in the PHONE that you want to transfer the pictures to, to the computer also using its compatible USB cord.

8. Again, once the computer notices this other phone a small window should also pop open asking you what you want to do. Simply click on "Open or View Files."

9. Now browse thru the file folders and locate where that phones pictures are located at. Then copy the TEMPORARY Picture Folder where you pasted all the pictures from the iPhone and PASTE it anywhere on the other phone by the pictures.

This would transfer all the pictures that you pasted on that TEMPORARY Picture Folder to your other phone.

10. Disconnect the phone from the computer and check your pictures on the phone.

In essence you are just copying pictures from one phone and pasting them on a different one. You just need to find them and paste them where you want them.

The below pictures illustrate how most phone connections pop up when you connect them to a computer.

I hope this was helpful to you and everyone who see's it!

When I take pictures simultaneously some pictures will be fine but some of them will be in ".nrw" form w/c is the un-finished type of photo in c3. I scanned my memory card but there's no virus....

.nrw file is used for temporary purpose. it will be in the phone for less than one min. if you take more pictures with in a small interval of time it will increment the number of .nrw files. so allow some time to take new picture.. it will help you to avoid missing of pictures...

Yes, you have great possibility to retrieve the pics deleted or formatted from cellphone. Those pics are still in the memory of your phone just not visible, and pics data are waiting to be written over by new data. So from now on don't use your cellphone to take more pics.

Then the best way to retrieve your deleted pics is to use some picture recovery programs. Recommended one is this photo recovery program. Here is the steps you may refer while retrieve your deleted pics from your phone memory.

1. Download and install this photo recovery program called asoftech photo recovery on your computer.
2. With your phone memory inserted, Under "My Computer", note the drive letter assigned to your phone's memory card (usually G: or H:).
3. Start the program and select the drive letter that assigned to the memory, click "Start".
4. Now the scanning process will start automatically to look for the deleted pictures. You will then get a list of all recoverable ones.
5. Select the pictures you want and click "Recover" and you can get back deleted pictures from your phone successfully.

Is it possible to recover pictures saved to the phone's memory after they have been deleted?

Were the photos initially stored in the phone's microSD card? If so, you can take the card out, insert it in your computer and run a photo recovery program on it.
  1. Installing and run a Photo Recovery app on your Mac/Win. Choose Photo Recovery from the recovery types.
  2. Click on "Photo" on the main interface. Connect your memory card with Mac, then select the memory device recovery. With "Only scan deleted files" checked, only the lost photo files will be checked.
  3. After hitting on the "Next" button in the previous step, you will get into the photo file scanning section. The app will check files for you intensively. You can have a preview on these photo files during scanning.

Wanted to recover deleted photos from my old Kitana Phone

The first thing you should do is STOP immediately writing anything back to the device in case chances of recovery might be greatly reduced.

Then take the external memory card out of your phone, connect it to a PC and use this cell phone photo recovery software to recover pictures as soon as possible. it should help you out.

Need to recover deleted photos

You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted photos is to try some file recovery software. Recommended asoftech photo recovery as it saved my life many times.
