Question about HP vs15 15"LCD Flat Panel Monitor
I do not have any sounds from my built in speakers on my monitor..please help!
The built in speakers on the monitor are only speakers, they are not run through the video signal cable and have to be connected separately.
many monitors with speakers provide a stereo cable in the package but dont tell what the cable is for.
If there is a cable provided there will be a small jack on the monitor that connects to audio out on the sound card.
There may also be a stereo plug combined with the video cable, that likewise connects to audio out.
If the hardware is connected, there may be a volume control on the monitor that may be muted.
If the problem is a recent thing for a system that previously had working sound with this monitor, try the mute on the audio settings
