The connecter plug from a car charger is firmly stuck in the ds and cannot be removed. it was put in the correct way and went in without problem. the same plug works fine with 2 other ds's and has been used before without problems. please help!
Remove the battery, looking at the jack on the left side is a prong that holds the charger in place also to make contact with the charger, try taking a pin and push the prong against the left wall. there is also one on the back right side

i have got that dont worry look the battery could be loose !! i know what your saying " LOOSE ???" well yeahh just put paper or anything until its FIRM and tight THAN you can put the charger OR if that dont work than find a new charger on EBAY..
Your DS may have a problem reading the battery gauge, and the DS will only let the charger do its thing for a period of time. Then, if it is still connected, it may burst more charge in. This means that your DS is acting up, and your battery may have a rare (and not harmful to the DS) malfunction.
did u try plugging them back in to the car ,maybe they heated up if so plug them in leave them for as long as when it happened and then try with a pliers for extra grip(twisting), a bad idea would be to splice the wires with the wall chargers by cutting of the ends and joining them that way but you would need to now what you are doing
The only concern is if the connectors inside the charging station is corrupted. The bending is simply the outer metal connection, then bending it back wouldn't cause any damage. If the problem is further inside the station, it needs to be replaced. Nintendo can replace it for you for an acceptable price.
There is a small latch on the connector that may be stuck. Try this. Turn the DS Lite upside down with the charger plug facing away from you. Press down the on the plug gently with your right thumb and with your left hand pull the connect away from the socket. FYI this should be a simple fit! Make sure the connector was not jammed in upside down to start with. It has a clear six sided shape to it!
you must forcefully remove the charger cable from the ds, try grasping the hard part of the charger cable where it inserts into the ds and have someone else hold the ds then pull. if it doesn't release still don't break the charger cable just send it off to nintendo and have them service it.
