Re: error code 000019-0000
Hi Jeff the Error code for tha model is for the waste toner bottle. The waste toner bottle is located on the left side of the copier toward the rear of the copier. It is to the left of the fixing unit door / where you pull a jam from the fixing unit. It is held in by one screw. Remove the cover and you will see the waste toner bottle. Remove it and you may think it is not that full. The problem is that the neck of the bottle gets waste toner on it and it blocks the sensor. I would empty out the bottle in to a garbage bag and tie the bag up, as to not make a mess. Then make sure the neck of the bottle is spotless of toner then reinstall and turn the copier Off then back On and remove the paper jams and you are done.

THe error code states that the machine doesn't sense the temperature of the fuser getting hotter. Usually this calls for the fixing film unit to be replaced because the thermistor has gone bad. You may be able to get away with just doing an error reset. Service mode, Copier, Funtion, Clear, Error. Then reboot machine and presto. Very often E000 is due to a sudden power outage. Possibly because the mod to the DC power supply hasn't been done (replacing a resistor with a capacitor and resister piggybacked). and get the service manual for it it will save u a lot of money you can download it from the below link:
The error code is much more likely to be E001, this is a fuser type fault. You should be able reset it in service mode. (copier, Funtion, Clear, error, turn m/c off then back on) As the issue is a fuser temperature related. First, the error needs to be cleared. Turning off/on won't do that.
You could go into service mode and clear the error (*28* > copier> function > clear > err > ok. Then turn the copier off, then on again and watch it heat up. I always monitor the temperature to make sure it's in the acceptable range (190 C or around that range).
If it happens often I'd have the thermistors changed. If it still happens, check the connectors in back of the fuser. They may need to be shimmed.
that is a thermistor error code. there are several causes for this. the thermistors are dirty, the upper fixing roller is damaged or it might have paper wrapped around it, or the connecter on the back of the fixing frame has a hair line crack in it. now you can clear this code if you you think there isn't anything wrong with the afore mentioned items.
you have to get into service mode. first you will have to shut the copier off at the main power switch and turn it back on once the error code pops up on the screen you will need to get into service mode.
you hit the
additional funtions button
then the 2+8 at the same time
then additional funtions button again
once in service mode you will need to follow the following steps
hit the copier tab
then the funtions tab middle of screen across the top
then hit the clear tab
then the err tab and hit the ok button to clear error
now you only have like 30 seconds give or take to get into service mode and to clear the error code before the machine shuts down if you don't get in fast enough dont worry shut the copier off and turn it back on and keep trying till you get in and clear it. trust me it took me several tries my first time i realized this myself.
you may go for the min time to service mode (funtion+orginal size A3+3), F9 mode, ram initialize, then find LBP FUSER RESET. then restart your machine. your lamp, thermistor, fuse , power supply all may be bad. you should get them tested
Look in you menus. Your log print out is probably set to on and set to print out way to frequently. You can turn that feature off. You can go to Xerox.com, click on Support and drivers. In the search box type in 116 then go to support and then type in Log, There should be an answer there as to how to shut off log printing. You cold also type in code 19 when you get to the support page.
