Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer

My printer will print the demo page but will not print the pages I ask it to.

Firstly ckeck the data cable is connected in your pc or not
in your pc go start setting printer and faxes and in this window you can show your printer
then ckeck it it is ready or not
if it is ready then open the printer clj 2600 and ckeck the few command pending or not if the command is pending then concle it and then give printouts
if the printer is offline then goes printer properties and ckeck printer properties

Ink is faint


two possiblities
1)not enough ink for the saturation of the media
2) media is not correctly saturated by the ink
sounds like the same issue- let me explain
your image may be purposely printed light because of 'ink save printing'( driver cuts down reqired ink levels to give a draft print.)
or your problem may lie with the paper type itself,
firstly have the machine print off its internal demo page ( read user manual to find how to print)
this print being held by the printer cannot be affected by external controllers, if the demo page looks nice aand even and strong in colour then your issue is software related and you should have a look at how the pc is handling these documents before they get to the printer.
if the demo image is light then you have a problem inside the printer
if it is the latter please re-post as internal demo page printing light in colour

Poor print quality on hp 1312


Hello Terry there are few things i would check :
1) Try printing a demo page directly from the printer, go to Setup>Reports>Demo Page
If you see the poor quality on this internal page that means that the issue could be related to hardware failure. Laser scanner assembly most of the times
2) Check on the toner level for the cartridges by printing a supply status report
3) If the problem is not on the demo page i would try replacing the printer driver for a Post Script Driver, you can download them from www.hp.com
4) You can Adjust the Print Quality by going to Printer Preferences under the driver

hi waht test page are you reffering about is the windows tes page or the demo page? If the demo page you can just turn off the printer if the windows test page. you need to go to control panel and click for printer and faxes, now right click on the icon of the printer and choose properties. Now under that properties settings you can cancel the query printouts for your printer

Black ink prints half a page then fades out. Sometimes does not print black at all. I have replaced the black ink cartridge twice and ran "clean printheads" many times. Still will not work


HI since you tried replacing the cartridges and cleaning the printhead, try the steps below.

1.Print a Demo Page.

a.Press the Menu button of the printer.
b.Use the down arrow key and select Print Demo Sheet.
c.Press OK button.

If demo page doesnt have black ink or faded prints,the printhead on your printer require replacement. Call 1.800.421.6699

Printing Problem


You can print the Coniguration page and demos?
If so, somehow you may the settings to the printer wrong.
If you select , file, then print, see that the proper printer is selected.
If you can print those other pages, the printer and connection is fine. There is some setting not sending the print job from the applications.
Really sounds like the printer has be deselected at the default printer

Epson r300 error code


Check printer status it has to on "ready" status, then again try to print a demo page located on your printer settings that you don't need to have computer connected. if you can print demo page that you know printer is working fine then again you only have to try for PC connectivity and drivers. if you can print demo page trough printer replug USB still if its not working try to reinstall drivers.
