It is unfortunate that the computer just has a black screen. Request you to try following the below steps which might help:
(1)Turn off the computer.
(2)Remove all the external peripherals like AC Adaptor, flash drives, battery, etc.
(3)Press and hold the power button for 30sec which releases the static on the computer (if any)
(4)Put back the battery and plug in the AC Adaptor.
(5)Let the computer charge for some time.
(6)Try turning on the computer.
If the computer doesn't turn on then check if the computer gives any series of beeps or if there are any diagnostics LEDs being displayed on the computer?
Also let me know if you are trying to just run the computer with a AC Adaptor and without the battery.
Sounds like there is a serious fault in the motherboard. I'm assuming you checked that the AC adaptor is working ok? Check first that there is power to the adaptor and power out of the adaptor by ensuring the green led is on and not flashing, a flashing led indicates power is not making a circuit in the motherboard and therefore a faulty powerboard.
Please turn off the Computer and disconnect the AC Adaptor then remove the Battery. Next, try cleaning the metal contacts on the Battery and reseating the RAM modules. Then, connect only AC Adaptor to the Computer and try to turn it ON without the Battery. If the Computer doesn't turn ON then disconnect the AC Adaptor and insert the Battery then try turning ON the Computer. If the issue persists even after performing all the above steps then service will be required.
Hi ! While power off, disconnect the power adaptor. Take off battery.
Plug the power adaptor back and try to start ! Is it running?
If yes, than the power adaptor is OK.
Now shut down and disconnect the power adaptor. Put back your battery and start! Leave it untill you 'empty' the battery. Do not start your laptop.
Plug the power adaptor and do not start your laptop yet. Is there a led idicator showing that the battery is charging ? Does it shows when the battery is full charged (e.g. red/yellow=charging, to green/off charged)? If not, leave it for at least 3 hours. After that, start your laptop (adaptor is plugged) and see if you still have an icon saying charging 99%.
If that is the case, then something is wrong with the battery.
Check your warranty, and replace it. DO NOT OPEN the battery - nothing interesting you will find inside - nothing you can do !
I don't know where it exactly is but I can help by saying what it looks like... I recently got a Toshiba Satellite A135 and had them put in a RAM, it's under your computer in one of those unscrewable pieces, it basically looks like a card in there, don't change it unless you know how.
Hi, this sound that the AC adapter produces owes to itself to which the same one does not produce the sufficient amperage to feed the equipment, that is to say is damage, they must replace it, if once replaced the problem of which the equipment does not power on Battery must try to power on the same one without the battery pack.
