Keyboard wont work
What do you mean will not work? Is it plugged in good in the back of the computer? What type of keyboard connection do you have? USB Connection is where the end that goes into the computer is Flat. Serial Connection is where the end that goes into the computer is Round.
Serial Connections are not Plug and Play. So if you pull it out an put it back in while the computer was running it does not recognize the keyboard. You'll have to reboot.
Have you tried booting in Safe Mode to see if the keyboard works? Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn it back on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see Safe Mode. Select the Safe Mode option and let it boot. Safe Mode will look different to you. The screen will be darker and the icons bigger but this is normal. When it completely boots up, try using the keyboard.
Maybe your keyboard has been hijacked by an infection. If so try downloading and running MalwareBytes or Run your Virus Scan.
Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download andinstall malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When thesite opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do notclick the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the GuiInterface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version orDecline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run aQUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be inred. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad textdocument will open up showing you the results. You can close the textdocument and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTEDRESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When itfinishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot yourmachine.
If all fails, try another keyboard, maybe yours is completely broken.
