This is a problem with the AV cable and its output. Try cleaning the AV cable and its socket. If the error persists, try another AV cable that you know is fine. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it's the scaler chip near the AV port - the HANA or ANA chip. In that case, you'll have to call MS Support to get your console repaired or replaced.

Code E74 1 red light flashing and error message on screen right? It is the scaler chip, it happens because the scaler chip starts overheating. If you stop the heat build up on the chips then you should be fine.

You can send your Xbox 360 back in for repair or fix it yourself with a good Xbox 360 Repair guide

Your console has the E74 error message. Your system is dead, call Microsoft cutomer support. It is covered by the warranty so repair is free.
