Getting code: 49.4C06 - ERROR. states to turn off HP LaserJet M3035xs MFp and turn back on to clear. We turned printer off and back on several times and still getting error code?
Does it print in black as well? If it does, then there are a couple of possbilities documented by HP on this model.
You will need to pirnt an engine test to see if it prints properly. You find the engine test button on the right side under the slide off panel. If the engine test comes out properly with proper margins then the formatter is bad. If the engine test is bad then the power supply is bad. If it is only copies or faxes you are sending that are black then you either have a loose scanner cable or the scanner is bad.
If the printer is making a crinkly sound when printing then likely the teflon cover on the heating element in the fuser has torn. Assuming that the rest of the fuser components are not damaged a reputable shop should be able to resleeve the fuser for you.
sounds like a imaging drum is getting old. they have a finite lifespan. Especially if the machine is used frequently.
Look for an imaging drum replacement.
Cheers.
I just fixed one of these and the problem appears to have been a failed formatter. The customers unit was not doing this all the time so I will not know for sure for a couple of weeks.
Your machines are probably timing out waiting for space on the network
Some software is hyper critical when it comes to handshaking and stalls if its criteria is not met
We now test machines to the C drive of a host computer proving that it will up and down load and then tell the network guys to sort out their comms problems
