I recently bought the game bad company 2 for pc and I downloaded it on my computer and installed all the updates for the game. The game takes forever to load and when it does come on, it is very very very slow..the guy inside the game moves after I press the key on the keyboard. I wanted to know if I needed some type of ATI driver? But on the HP site, it does not allow me too. I had installed windows 7 into my laptop because it crashed during the summer time of 2010 so therefore when I accessed the HP site, there were no drivers for this model under windows 7.

From your description of the problem, it seems your system could be infected by malware. Which game did you install? Was it a free download?

It's possible that the game that you installed is a legitimate game, but what is also important is where you download it from. Because there could be other applications bundled along with the game that could have been installed either with or without your consent.

Here's how you can get rid of the infected files on your system:
1.Download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, or MBAM, from the following location:Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Download Link
2.Once downloaded, close all programs and Windows on your computer and run the installation file. Follow onscreen instruction to complete installation.
3.Update definitions and run a full scan.
4.Select all infected files that are found and remove them all.
5.Reboot your system.
Reset your browser to make sure all the add-on/plugins that were installed by the adware are removed.

The updating time depends upon the size of the update files and these can be very large, also your Internet connection speed. The download site may provide the download progress ie remaining download time, the amount of data left to download and maybe the download speed.

Try to uninstall and re-install the LeapFrog Connect and wait until it finish configuring and updated the software both on the PC and the console, It may takes 10-20 mins for it to complete updating.

One more thing, you have to make sure that you get latest LeapFrog Connect software from LeapFrog website instead of installing it from supplied CD.

It sounds like it could be a conflict issue. if you recently installed any software try uninstalling it. if that doesn't work then try doing a system recovery.

You might need to update the game. Did you download the Vietnam package? you don't need to purchase it but you do need to download it in order to be able to play online again.

check the specs of your computer and the game. try updating all drivers

I also had a problem with "Word Documents" taking 2-3 minutes + to open.
Finally tracked it down to a version of "Kodak Software" that I had recently installed - I even updated all of the Kodak Software off their website - still the same - "Word" very very slow.
Solution
I uninstalled the Kodak Software and the Word Documents then opened up at the normal speed.
You may have installed some software that causes this conflict - trial and error to find out which one.

I suspect you have a thermal issue

1. try cooling down the computer as much as possible

2. dissable and unused services

3. download and install the ALL of the latest service packs and critical updates

4. download and install any updates that apply to skype

5. download and install and updates for your bluetooth device

if you still don't get results
you may have an incompatability issue.

Some vista doesn't work properly for updates or pc game. Try to install fresh installer for your game, maybe it works properly. The best use for OS windows xp 2.
