The "normal cycle" light keeps blinking, none of the other buttons work.
I tried to reset it with the special code, but it doesn't work. Please help. Thank you for your time.
My normal light was blinking. Found the tech sheet under the machine. it had the pin out chart for testing the resistance on the ribbon cable for the push buttons. sure enough the normal button was showing continuity without even pushing the button. I pealed back the push buton cover on the front of the machine and found a short on the cable I scratched off the data bus where the short was and now the dishwasher works fine just can't chnge it from heavy to normal or rinse only. the control panel cost 150 dollars I can live without it.
The blinking button indicates the button is bad. The button console will have to be replaced.

Hi
If clean light is blinking then it may be an
issue with heater circuit, door switch or wash pump, please reset the power to
the dishwasher. After, 5 minutes check if you are still getting the same error.
If yes, then it is a water heating fault. To resolve this error try pressing
this reset sequence-- Heat Dry - Normal - Heat Dry - Normal or High Temp - Air
Dry - High Temp - Air Dry or Hi Temp Scrub, energy saver dry, Hi Temp Scrub,
energy saver dry or High Temp Wash-Heated Dry-High Temp Wash-Heated Dry .
Now let the unit run for 2-3 minutes and then you press the Cancel/Drain button
and allow it to completely drain and reset. If this doesn't work then it's an
issue with the wash pump not pumping the water past the heater efficiently or
due to lack of water to heat. Please make sure that heater is not open
circuited and is heating the water efficiently. You'll have to check the heater
using a multimeter; the meter should read between 3000 to 3300 ohms (Use
multimeter on Rx1 ohm setting). If heater is fine then make sure water pressure
is optimum and fill valve is working fine. Hope this helps... Please post
back if you need more information.

Hello,
after I posted my problem, I opened the panel and messed around inside, touched it, blew some air in there, and screw it back on, and that made all the buttons work again, don't ask me how it happened, I didn't do anything special in there. I was super happy, I didn't run a ful cycle though. Today, all the buttons work, but the start button doesn't, I don't know what happened, since I haven't used the dishwasher last night. I guess I just didn't fix it....
But all the buttons where fine last night, so they're not broken, maybe it's a bad connection????
