I have a Krupps 992 which started leaking around the seal where the coffee was following out. I brought it in for service and since then I have not been able to make a real Expresso coffee.
I no longer get the creamy froth on the black coffee. I also feel that the machine is overheating when it is making the coffee, very little trickle of coffee come out. It looks like there is not enough pressure to push the coffee out quickly to make a good coffee. It comes out in little droplets and the machine gets very hot. Yet the milk frothing is perfect. When you put very coarse coffee in the made up coffee is very weak and comes out quickly. Problem it is dishwater coffee. Yuk!!!!
