Question about Computers & Internet

1 Answer

Hello. I have a problem with one of my programs and it is always on ongoing thing. In the past I have managed to fix it by unistalling and completely removing any trace of the program thats left. The problem program is Dance Ejay 4. When I want to load a file, it comes up with the 'save' option. I cancel this and an 'unrecognized format' error message comes up and changes the title to either 'true' or 'false' and becomes unusuable. I use this program a lot but what has puzzled me is that I installed it on my main computer and eventually I started having this problem again. I installed it again on my laptop today and both are running off my my external hard disk. This has not been a problem until recently. I have uninstalled the program off the main PC and installed into a different directory on the laptop. Within hours the same problem has occured on my laptop. Is there a bug in the program that I have not been able to find on the web? Is it my hard disks? I thought it was a registry fault so I fixed it on my main system today and my laptop doesnt need it yet as its fairly new still. This did not solve the problem. Is there anything you can do to help me please? I use this program a lot and some of my best work cannot be loaded and finished due to this. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer. My email is: Thank you for your time. M Prior

I cannot use vuze as my default torrent download manager

Try uninstalling ilivid using a 3rd party Uninstaller. I would recommend Revo Uninstaller, which has a free version. Once revo is installed, open it up and you can see the list of programs installed. From the list, uninstall ilivid. During the uninstallation process, select the medium option. It will also show the registry entries. Delete all the entries and complete the uninstallation.

Hello, HP at his best, as always... Try to open OS in safe mode, by the way, which is yours? Get to device manager and try it again. If the result is the same, try to unistall that specific driver, and make the device manager to search for new hardware. Regards.

Do i click save or run when downloading a program for ongoing use

Either will work. Save will allow you to save the file and run again if you need, eg, if the installation fails for some reason. Run will save the file to a temp folder and run when completed downloading. It's really up to you. I personally always save then run.
