Question about Computers & Internet
My son brought an HP PC computer home from peru. Now its 220 and here its 110 We bought the transformer plugs but the moniter says going to sleep like its low on power. Any suggestions. Should I just put on the adapter and plug it straight in the outlet? Can You Please help. Thanks John Lee Francis
If that is a desktop PC, you should look for a switch right next to the ac cord connector must the times it is red, you can use a screwdriver to set it to 115 V.( it moves laterally)
Otherwise you can change the power supply, if that is the case, tell me and i would help you to know what to look for.
if it is a laptop simply buy another adapter( 120V to whatever the input voltage of the laptop is).
i hope this help you.
