Question about Casio Cameras

Casio exilim 10.1 mega pixels the screen shows black and when I try to reset all it doesn't help when I aim the camera at object it only shows black and when picture is taken only black is shown?

Lens gets stuck and wont take pictures. Turn back on and it says retry power on. Thats helpful. :(

Are the pictures also black?
Is so the main circuit board in the camera is probably faulty. This is expensive to replace.

If the Pics are still good it could be the display has been turned to off or the lcd has been damaged and/or back light is not operating.

If you could give some answers to the above we might be able to norrow down you issue further. Please also advise exactly what model Casio you have.

Exilim camera memory full when few pictures taken


Have you fitted a memory card?
The camera will only take a few photos using its own memory.
It takes: SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card , SDXC Memory Cards.
If you have fitted a memory card it may be faulty and you will need to buy another.

I have been given an 7.2 mega pixels casio exilim camera. it was probably bought in 2007. Is it possible to get instuction on how to use it. not very good with cameras I'm afraid.

Lens is fuzzy


Lens barrels are not in correct position, therefore, no focus. Needs service. No way to RESET lens barrel position. Needs service.

Did you drop the camera? It seems like the lens mechanics are jammed. Try pulling the lens out of camera very gently with you fingers. Good luck!
