Problem installing AVG free: error 0x800736b1
I have tried rebooting-another date-unstalling and reindstalling and stiill getting the same message. I contacted AVG 3 days ago and still no answer. Thank You Cynthia

Uninstalling and reinstalling normally works. Do you use a regcleaning program at all. would recommend you do as the good ones (Uniblue suite, Regcure, Regmechanic) clean up your registry and removes invalid reg files. So b4 reinstalling AVG try a recleaner first, then re-install. Also try googling your error number as you are not alone with this prob.

I kept getting the error 0x80070003. It turned out that when I changed the path for the location of the installation I was missing the \ after the driver letter name. Most times you can just type in the name of the folder you want but you need to type in \(folder name). For some reason, AVG doesn't automatically add the \. Anyways, if you got this error, I hope that this is all you have wrong. :)
