Sorry to say most laptop keyboards come complete. But Toshiba laptop keyboards are not that expensive. The labor is usually more. Some laptops keys can be reinstalled, there is a metal wire that is the piviot and the other part snap in place...Contact a independent service tech will be cheaper than Best buy, or Staples , etc...

Need replacement key for Microsoft keyboard

Best, cheapest and possibly only answer is low-tech.

Do some networking to establish if there is a Technology Recycling Depository Facility near you, and request the ability to take a part.

Depending on your locale, this could be a free solution for you. Given the fact that it is a desktop keyboard, it may not be worth the trouble given the cost; however in this economy I can understand where you are coming from and it is good to see one less disposed piece of technology.

Also check around for a local computer shop, they will probably be willing to give you an entire dead keyboard for free, if not just the key you require. Providing that you give them a little initial and closing respect. (Local computer shops get a raw deal with the advent of corporate fix-it locations.)

These are two free suggestions.

The final may be valuable to you, providing you need the E key more then another key on your keyboard. Simply remove another key you seldom, or never, use and replace the E key with that key.

Best of luck friend, we all have to do with what we have.

Broken key

Usually they do not sell a single key for a keyboard. You will have to replace the entire keyboard. I found a seller.

Hi!i have a toshiba satellite A135-S4527 laptop but i don't know if it has bluetooth or not.

There should be a bluetooth key on the on the keyboard to enable it. If there isn't one, check for bluetooth drivers in the control panel to see how to enable it or to verify the hardware.

HAVE A TOSHIBA SATELLITE A135-S4677 NOTEBOOK AND HAVE FORGOTTEN MY HDD1 INNER BIOS PASSWORD & NEED TO RESET IT IF POSSIBLE.

This works only for some models.

Power unit off. Disconnect AC power. Remove battery. Remove the memory cover screw, memory cover and the memory modules. Peel back the mylar. there should be a set of solder pads labeled JOPEN1. Short the JOPEN1 solder pads for 30 seconds. Replace mylar. Replace memory modules. Replace battery. Power up unit. If all is well, replace memory cover and screw. Hope this helps.
