My Rreezer is working but the refigerator is warm .

Hi

Check the back wall or floor of the freezer section for frost. Check the freezer ( evaporator) fan to see if it is running. Check the condenser coils under the unit for blockage from dust. Check the condenser fan (under the unit) to see if it is running.
If you have frost in the freezer there is a problem with the defrost system and the freezer will start to warm eventually as well as the fresh food section. If that is the problem you can check the defrost terminator, defrost heater/s, and the defrost timer or adaptive defrost control If used on your unit or the main control board if so equipped. These things usually require dismantling the freezer and other areas of the refrigerator to be checked.

There can be many factors for the no cooling factor: the condenser coils could be blocked with dust, the condenser fan could be bad or stuck, the freezer fan could be stuck or bed, the freezer coils could be blocked with frost because the self-defrost system is not working or the compressor is not running because of a bad relay etc.

Kenmore elite bottom freezer, refrigerator is cool but not cold I don't know what the problem may be

Hi,

Thank you for contacting fixya.com.

Check the condenser under the refrigerator is clogged with lint. Make sure that the condenser fan underneath the fridge is running properly. You can get to it through the back. Check the coils on the rear of the refrigerator and make sure they are clean and dust free. Also check the back wall or floor of the freezer section for frost. Check the evaporator fan to see if it is running. Check the condenser coils under the unit for blockage from dust. Check the condenser fan under the unit to see if it is running. If you have frost in the freezer there is a problem with the defrost system and the freezer will start to warm eventually as well as the fresh food section. If that is the problem you can check the defrost thermostat, defrost heater/s, and the defrost timer or adaptive defrost control If used on your unit or the main control board if so equipped. Also check the freezer to ensure it isn't over loaded with food stuff, reason being air must flow freely threw out the entire refrigerator in order for the thermostat to work correctly.

Defrost the freezer by disconnecting the power to the refrigerator and letting it sit for at least 24 hours with both the doors open to allow the frost to melt completely but it will build up again in 1-2 weeks and start the warming up again.

The ice cube indicator is blinking

From the manual:

The Control Center monitors refrigerator and

freezer temperatures as well as the ice maker

system. If there is a temperature or ice maker

problem, you'll be alerted by a flashing

SERVICE indicator light. This same SERVICE

light will also flash if the condenser needs

cleaning. Before calling for service, please

check and see if your condenser area needs

cleaning. Refer to Condenser Cleaning,
page 22.

CONDENSER CLEANING

In all Built-In models, the condenser is located

behind the grille. First, remove the grille. Then

using a soft bristle brush, vacuum to remove

dust and lint from the condenser. NOTE: To

avoid bending the condenser fins, be sure to

vacuum in the direction of the fins (up and

down). Clean the condenser area every three

to six months.

CAUTION

Before cleaning the unit, shut the electricity

off at the control panel. When you

clean the condenser, wear gloves to avoid

injury from the sharp condenser fins.

Failure to clean the condenser could

result in temperature loss or mechanical
failure or damage.

48" side by side Monogram center between doors getting very hot

this problem is due to low or no air flow aross the condenser coil on your refrigerator. according to sthe model number you listed I'm assuming this is a bult in unit so the condenser coils are going to be on top of the unit. Here are the steps to check and possibly repair your unit:
  • Open compartment cover on top.
  • check and clean the coils that will be exposed, you can either vacum or blow them out with compressed air depending on how dirty they are
  • there is also a fan that cools this coil, check that it is running. this is probably why it is getting so hot in center post and freezer isnt doing good.
if the motor is bad you can position a regular house fan blowing into the motor compartment and it will get everything back to normal until the unit is repaired.
Fyi: there is a hot gas freon line that runs between the doors that controls exterior unit moisture and when there is poor or no air flow across the condenser coil it causes this area to get extremely hot. There is no fire hazzard tho.
If I can be of further assistance please ask. Thanks Peyton
