I can't count how many times I've told people this...
You're typing the right password, but the network either isn't the right TYPE (A,B,G or N) or the Encryption type on the password isn't being set right on the iphone You need to know the password, AND whether or not it's WEP, or WPA Then set it up in your settings to use that specific encoding type, and then try entering the pass :)

I have just realised my wireless connection is not protected

turn on WPA protection and enter a passkey on the router, you will then have to reconnect to the network with any wireless device that you are using and enter the new passkey

I have a new computer and need to enter the pass code to the router.

If you mean the wireless passkey, to see it you'll need to enter to setup mode of router normally done by an Ethernet (wired) connection, at the wireless setup tab you can see the defined passkey, also SSID (wireless network name) cyphering type, etc.

My iPhone 4 will not connect to my wireless router EVEN THOUGH I'm using the correct password. It tells me it is the wrong password. All other devices (netbooks, laptops) connect with no problem.

There are 3 things to try:
1: reset router
2: on iPhone, Settings, General, Reset, reset Network Settings.
(this erases all saved network settings, if you use other wifi, you will have to set them up again in the iPhone)
3: Change the password on the router, try to use a 13 character password if possible, as this seems to sometimes help.

If all that doesn't work, then you may have an issue with the phone itself.

My ipod will not connect to a Belkin G wireless port

This could be if you r not enterning the correct wireless passkey.
If the key is wrong get to the router home page an then check or change the wireless passkey. You can also reset the router to take off the security.

Cant connect PC after encription

You may have a setting on the router that limits the number of authenticated wireless connections at one time. You will have to enter the web utility and check the wireless settings, particularily the security settings.

Vista and bluetooth

Passkeys need to match in both the router/access point and the wireless adapter attempting to communicate with it. Whoever configured the router should be able to supply the WEP/WPA passkey / passphrase / network key If your router does not have a passkey ... you are attempting to attach to the wrong wireless router. (if that is the case you should consider assigning WEP/WPA security to your wireless networl (router/accesspoint and adapters)

Linksys wireless-g

ok, you seem to be going around it the wrong way round, if you are trying to connect to your friends network you would not connect to his pc you would connect to his router, so you cannot use your router to connect to his. assuming you have a wireless network adapter, which you must have, you simply connect to your friends router via your pc and not your router, you cannot have one router connecting to another, only signal boosters. when your'e network adapter detects a network, select your'e friends and then enter the passkey when prompted, so turn off your router,as it can only be used for your own network, as it musn't be connected to your modem, or else you wouldnt need to connect to your friends. If you want to connect to your friends pc for file sharing make sure he has is sharing set up and you both have the same workgroup name e.g. mshome

Re: IPhone doesn't connect with wifi automatically - password not recoginized HELP!!!

Yep, I had the same problem with my iPhone as well (32GB 3GS).
Had the signal NO problem for about a week then POOF it was gone. WTF?
Prowled the boards looking for a solution.
Tried resetting the phone, resetting the Wi-Fi, switching airplane mode on and off, forgetting the network, etc.

HERE'S YOUR SOLUTION :
Go unplug your wireless router's power cord.
Wait 30 seconds.
Plug it back in.

Your iPhone will reconnect, and you'll be back in business.
