Question about Dell Inspiron 1000 Notebook
MY LAPTOP WILL BOOT UP TO "WELCOME" WHEN TURNED ON.
TO TURN OFF, NEED TO HOLD POWER BUTTON.
CANNOT GET PAST THE WELCOME ON SCREEN. HAVE TRIED SAFE MODE AND GET THE SAME "WELCOME". AM TO A POINT WHERE I MAY HAVE TO REFORMAT HARD DRIVE??
HAVE GONE TO DIAGNOSTIC MODE AND ALL SYSTEMS PASS.

First try a system repair with your operating system disc. If you have any issues during the repair, then reformat and reload the operating system.
