The TV user guide should provide the procedures of acquiring auto scan. For example, your TV may be acquiring functionality from satellites dishs or cable receiver devices. Performing an auto scan achievable with the remote control device with adjustment to settings on the channel buttons would produce a signal only with available transmitter stations. Performing a channel auto scan would display no signals without available receiver devices often acquired with susbscription from a provder either cable TV, sattelite or disk network, show on demand for example. However, performing an auto scan on a new Tv should simply display a count list of possible available channels on which signals could be display when any is provided. Good luck

How do I scan the TV clc501 for channels? I don't see a button for (antenna) to scan channels. I am only getting 2 channels, any help would be appreciated.

I can provide some general steps on how to scan for channels on a TV: Make sure that your TV is connected to an antenna or cable input. Turn on the TV and go to the main menu or settings. Look for an option to scan for channels or auto-tune. This option may be labeled as "Channel Setup" or "Channel Scan." Select the option to scan for channels and wait for the TV to complete the process. This may take several minutes. Once the scan is complete, you should see a list of available channels on your TV. If you're still having trouble, I suggest referring to the user manual that came with your TV for more specific instructions. Alternatively, you can try contacting the manufacturer's customer support for assistance.

How do I hold onto CHANNEL 19 (1-7)to access COSI,ME,LAFF, ESCAPE & 2 ESPN radio 1490 & 1590) which I had when first scanned my TV at Christmas?

Do you have an outside antenna? If so start scanning for individual channels at 000. Move 5 degrees scan for individual channels again. Move 5 degrees more. You must scan for individual channels. A wide range scan will erase everything else.
Go to Menu. Hit 7343 then mute. This should take you to a menu with a single scan option. It will take a very long time to complete this. Once you have scanned in every direction, be sure to NEVER hit the wide scan.
