Right click on your internet explorer and open properties. Under the security tab you can set this site as a trusted site so that Windows will not shut you out, just because they did not pay for their site to be Windows approved.

Sec error expired certificate

This sounds like a "Security Certificate" issue, preventing access to a secured server or website. If that is correct you wil need your security or certificate provider (vendor) to update or re-issue your certificate to allow access to this site. Usually these types of sites are Education, Government, Business-2-Business "Clouds", 3rd Partty Access apps for resellers of IT/Telephony, HR/CRM or financial. A certificate will not be hard to acquire should you have a valid reason.

Hope this helps!

I am trying to access my hotmail account and get "access denied" - you don't have permission to access "/D/864/193170/000/sslcachekey.bayw.mail.live.com/default.aspx?id=64855" on this server

I had this problem a short time ago, and it resolved when I signed in to my outlook account on my laptop. I never used it that way before, but this seemed to be needed. Otherwise try using Firefox brouser to go to Hotmail.

it means internet explorer does not trust the website because the security certificate is not recognized by IE. you can right click the content blocked and click the allow option on the drop down menu.

I cannot open my mail, it keeps saying website is blocked from security certificate errors. Can you help?

Try using thunderbird to remotely access your email thereby skipping the website of the email directly. Your browser seems to be wary of the email site you are trying to access, as it is not correctly giving the appropriate security signature.

Certificate error on web site.

This is basically an Internet Explorer 7 Website’s Security Certificate problem! You have to self-sign the certificate on the client computer or add the URL manually to the trusted security zone. When you are trying to access a secure web page, you receive the warning message:

"There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority."

Or

"Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept data you send to the server."

To fix this issue, you can follow either of the methods:

Method 1:

You have to install the Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) self-signed certificate on the client computer. To do this, follow these steps:

  • In Windows Internet Explorer 7, click Continue to this website (not recommended).
A red Address Bar and a certificate warning appear.
  • Click Certificate Error button to open the information window.
  • Click View Certificates > click Install Certificate.
  • Click Yes, to install the certificate, when warning message appear.

Note: For Windows Vista users, right click on Internet Explorer icon. Select Run as Administrator.

Method 2:

Add the URL to the Trusted Sites security zone:

  • Open Internet Explorer
  • Go to Menu bar > Tools > Internet Options.

    tool.jpg
  • Click Security > Trusted sites > Sites

    sec.jpg
  • Type the URL in the Add this website to the zone text box > uncheck Require server verification >Add > click OK

    trust.jpg
  • Click OK to exit.

    cus.jpg

Now you have added the URL successfully into the Trusted Sites security zone.

Internet Explorer cannot display web page

a couple things I've seen
- first the address as posted is invalid (can't find) but if you insert a dot (.) between parents and brickshools then it finds it (http://parents.brickshools.org/)

- if the corrected address is correct it looks like the site is redirected to a secure connection (https vs. http) and then the problem is that the site owner's security certificate has several problems as follows:

The security certificate presented by this website was not issued by a trusted certificate authority. The security certificate presented by this website has expired or is not yet valid. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. these issues were presented to me by Internet Explorer v7.0 - the main address functions (http://brickschools.org/) so it definitely seems to be a security certificate issue on their end. I would speak with the site owner. btw, I'm coincidentally in Toms River :)

Hello,

Continue to this website (not recommended)

Use this option and you will get the hotmail.
Also Reset the IE to the Defaults to get the permanent fix on the same.
