Question about Brother BRTPT65 PT-65 Label Maker Printer
I can't find the manual and I need to make labels. the tape will not advance out of the label maker HELP!!!
Once you snap in the catridge you have to put the back of the p-touch back on. After that you can feed through the tape by pressing Code Space. If the back of your P-touch is not on it will not advance through.... I learned the hard way :) Hope it helps you all.

If the heavy rubber roller has pulled the tape away from the cassette, you will have to re-thread it, or the tape will prefer to wrap itself around the black roller inside the unit. You will need to remove the cover and take out the cartridge to see what has happened.

Manual is here: http://www.brother-usa.com/ModelDocuments/Consumer/Users%20Manual/UM_PT_65_65SB_65SCCP_65SL_65VP_EN_166.PDF
Your cassette appears empty or otherwise non-functional. Please see page 2 of the above manual.
