it's seems that your cam is naot compatible to the os of your pc..try to change your os like xp..check first the compatibility of the cam that you will use..check the box of the product you can read the what compatible on it.
This is a driver update for your Creative WebCam Live and can download the Creative Camera VF-0050 Drivers. Be aure to select the operating system to get the proper driver. Hope it helps, if so do rate the solution

I had the same problem with the vf-0050 on a win vista x32 PC. I Downloaded the latest XP driver from creative and installed it. THe camera works fine with MSN messenger and skype. I'll have to wait and see if it works with x64 as well.
