you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustmentsthere or click start control panel
administrive tools computer management device manager sound video and game
controllers could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers if
you dont have a motherboard disk you will need to download the sound drivers hope this helps
1) Go here. 2) Agree to the terms and continue. 3) Choose your operation system, then IGP Grapgic Drivers, then SiS66x/SiS76x & SiS67x and click Go. 4) Download the first driver... 5) Repeat steps for IDE driver, AGP driver and Network driver (SiS 191 Gigabit & 190 LAN).
Open
Device Manager from Control Panel and check there are no yellow exclamation
marks on any drivers. If there are then you need a new driver.
You need to goto the manufacturers website, find
their support section and there should be a list of drivers for your specific
machine. Installing these should resolve your problem. I have a list of links
to most manufacturers drivers on my website. Hope this helps, www.PuterCare.com
go into the bios, and make sure that it has been selected to use onboard sound or onboard audio, if that does not work, and if you have the motherboard manual. look and see if it has motherboard jumper settings to use for the onboard sound. ive noticed also with alot of motherboards the built in soundcards dont perform very well but hopefully this will lead you on the right track!!
