Text messaging I go to messages and try to sent a text and it wont let me do nothing in the messaging center no matter what way i try to get there

Go to net in the menu and go to text messaging and you should be able to go form there

1.go to your message settings and check the message center number to see if it is correct
2. call to your network operator customer care
3. request the message center number...
4.note it down
5. go to message settings>message center number
6. insert the number which is noted by you and save it

this solves your messaging problem ...

Cant send or recieve text messages on my mobile phone
hi, if you are having trouble sending or recieving text messages then the fisrt thing you need to do is delete all the sent and recieved messages and also drafts due to the fact that if your memory is full this will give you loads of problem sending and recieving text or mms messages so deleting these will then get your messages working again.

If how ever you still cant send or recieve text messages then the chances are that your message center number is wrong or got mest up, what you need to do is contact your service provider and ask them to send you the text message center number settings, they will then tell you the correct message center number and how to change this setting on your phone.

They wont charge for this and it will only take 2 minutes to solve your problem.

Everything works well on my phone, except a week or so ago it stopped sending text messages, I can recieve them but they will not send. any thoughts?
You can actually delete the unnecessary SMS from your phone to make sure that the phone memory is not really full, outbox, sent items, drafts and inbox.
You can also check if the message center number that you are using is the correct SMS center number assigned for your service provider, you might need replacing it with another message center numbers. You can call your service provider for the list of SMS center numbers that you can try to use.

The message center number is not correct.

Go to menu, message, message setting, message center.

Copy the message center number form someone using the same network with you because the message center number are the same.

I had the same problem.... i could not send text message with my N79.... it's just stored in outbox and keeping on trying to send but it never been sent.... i had checked all the settings on my phone but...
Hello,the problem you are facing now is simply because you have deleted your message center number mistakenly,kindly visit your message center number through your messages icon menu,you then move to message settings there you would see your message center number.if just a digit is deleted from the message center number you will not be able to send messages.all you need to do is to look for someone who is on the same network with you to copy out the message center number correctly and compare with the one you have on your phone,or you can slao get the message center number from your service provider.

Texts wont send. says Message Sending Failed. it says that every time i try and sent a text message. and i have 2-3bars on my connection
for sending text messages :

MY TEXT MESSAGING WONT LET ME TEXT ANYONE. IT SAYS TEXT MESSAGE FULL BUT I HAVE NO MESSAGES IN MY INBOX OR OUTBOX
Does it show signal bars on the screen and are you able to make/receive calls? If not then that is why. AT&T does not guarantee in building service. If you do have signal and it is working other than text, then check your message center number in the device:

From the standby screen, press Menu.
Press Messaging.
Scroll to and select Settings.
Scroll to and select Text Message.
Enter appropriate Message Center Number, then press Done. The message center number that should be there is +13123149810 (and the + sign does need to be in front of it)

Check message center no.(Service provider will provide u ) , message sent as (Should be "text"),message validity (max. time), replay via same center no.(No)

, if every option  is ok then call ur service provider
