My 52" RCA TV quit working suddenly too. When you pressed the power button, it would come on for 15 sec, make a sizzling crackling sound in back, then shut off. I found out what was making the noise, removed the part, but now no one can tell me where to find this part. Even parts supply stores can't tell me what it is, because the part number doesn't show up in their computers. Can anyone tell me what this part is, and /or tell me where the supposed part number is located!!????

Hello Rebecca197,
What part did you remove? and what numbers are you trying to find. post them, and I might be able to do a cross reference.
Thank you,
Hello shainer,
It sounds like you have a power supply problem, check the fuses on the AC board and the check the voltages on the main PS board.
I hope this helps.
Thank you,

Wont turn on

Check the solder connections on the flyback and also right next to the flyback there is a small white coil with copper wrapped around it that will sometimes arch causing the solder to need re-soldering
