Try to check the free space of your memory, you could not take a picture if you don't have enough space on phone memory, even though you have a lot of space in memory card,phone memory should need enough space to perform any operation on you phone.delete or clear all unnecessary data first.
This will also help fixing the problem by resetting your mobile.By going to phone settings then master reset,a code will be ask so you can continue,just enter the desire code or the will be the default 0000. Most phones have both internal memory and the sim card is a memory on its on. You might have the function to keep a copy of sms in sim as well. So you need to enter the sim memory and delete those SMS's

This means that your sent memory is full, if you delete your old sent messages then you wont see that message anymore.
Just go to your messages, look for sent messages, choose settings, delete all, confirm and you should be done.
While it is possible that your message memory may indeed be full that may not be the case.
