If the ipod itself is fine then there is a problem either in the connections or in the speakers.

two years, Id say thats out of warranty, you would have to take it apart and test the wires - speakers etc. or take it to a electronics shop so a tech can take a look at it.

The remote just doesn't work

I had a similar problem, my speakers are only a month old, and the other day, all the buttons on the remote just stopped working except for the volume and power buttons.

I just pressed the reset button on the bottom of the speakers and it seems to of done the job, so maybe you could try that :)?
Hope this helps..

Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere Portable Speakers for Apple iPod . It keeps shutting off after a few minutes. It's plugged into a wall outlet.

Many have reported the same issue, reset the pure-fi with the reset switch (on bottom) while it is turned on, then put your iphone/ipod at 75+ % of volume before/while playing.

Plugged in but no power

the two connecting pins have been flattened probably due to putting the power pins on and off. i carefully squeezed the pins up so they would make a better connection. remember to do this gently and they only need to be repositioned up wards slightly to make this connection. mine works a treat now charges the speakers and my ipod.
cheers deb

Speaker stops after a few minutes

I was having the same problem but I seemed to solve it by having the laptop volume maxed and using the dock to control volume. I think that it has a sleep function where if it is not getting a signal it powers off and for some reason the laptop isn't putting out a strong enough signal to keep it awake. Maxing the laptop volume seems to give it a constant enough signal so that the problem went away.
